The abacus is one of the most effective tools for developing a child’s number sense and mental calculation ability. At Mindful Education, our Abacus Programme helps students build a deep understanding of numbers through hands‑on practice, visualisation, and structured training.

By learning to use the abacus and gradually transitioning to mental imagery, students develop speed, accuracy, concentration, and confidence — skills that support both school mathematics and long‑term cognitive growth.
